Michael has over fourteen years experience as a Teaching Professional. Originally from Kentucky, Michael won several junior golf tournaments before attending The University of Louisville and walking on to the Louisville Men’s Golf Team and later graduating from Eastern Kentucky University where he was a member of the inaugural class of the Professional Golf Management Program. Michael has had the privilege of teaching all over the country, and has had the opportunity to learn under several recognized PGA professionals. Michael not only utilizes his own Trackman 4 during coaching experiences, but also employs Smart2Move 1D Force Plates and a Hackmotion 3D Wrist Sensor and is certified on all aforementioned technology.
Michael believes in holding all students to the same standard, their very best. Michael also strongly believes in measuring, and not guessing when it comes to the golf swing. Not only does Michael employ a Trackman 4, Smart2Move Force Pates, and Hackmotion into each lesson, but he also tailors his message and points in a way to where the student not only understands, but also relates. Golfers from all skill levels have benefited from working with Michael, and generally would describe his approach as casual and friendly.
PRIVATE COACHING EXPEREINCE:
Individual Coaching Experiences (50 minutes): Michael will spend 50 minutes and help you identify your best golf swing based off of your physical anatomy. Not only will Michael help you understand your anatomy based off measurements, but will also help you understand the forces at work utilizing Smart2Move Force Plates, giving us the ability to understand something that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Pairing Trackman 4 and Hackmotion 3D Wrist Sensor now allows us to understand the complexity of the golf swing and simplify it down to the main areas of focus.
